Drex Service Terms

Drex evaluates the state and typed questions you send and returns structured answers with probabilities. Answers are model predictions, not facts or advice. You decide how to act on them and are responsible for those decisions, as described in section 5 of the Nace AI Terms of Service.

We may change, add or remove features and models. We will give reasonable notice before removing a model that you are actively using, except where we have to act sooner for security or legal reasons.

• Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for all usage made with your keys until you revoke them in the dashboard.
• An account can have up to three active keys. Revoked keys stop working within a few seconds.
• One free credit per person. Creating accounts to collect more free credit, or to get around rate limits, is not allowed.

Drex is prepaid. Usage is charged at $40 per billion input tokens ($0.04 per million). Output tokens are free. Every successful response reports the input tokens it used, and its cost is deducted from your credit right after the response. Requests that fail, including validation errors, rate-limit responses and capacity errors, are not charged.

• Free credit. New accounts receive a one-time free credit, currently $25, which expires 30 days after sign-up. We may change or end the free-credit offer at any time.
• Purchased credit. You can buy between $5 and $1,000 of credit per purchase through Stripe. Purchased credit expires 12 months after purchase.
• Credit is spent soonest-expiring first. Expired credit cannot be restored. Credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred and can only be used for Drex.
• Requests running in parallel can take your balance slightly below zero. Any shortfall is deducted from your next credit.
• Prices exclude any taxes that may apply. We will give at least 30 days' notice of price changes, which apply to usage after the change takes effect.

Purchased credit is non-refundable, including unused or expired credit and credit left when an account is closed, except where required by law or where we charged you in error. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact support@nace.ai within 30 days of the charge.

If a payment is refunded or disputed, we may remove the related credit and suspend the account until the matter is resolved.

We limit requests per minute and concurrent requests per account, and total capacity across all accounts, to keep the service fast for everyone. Accounts that have bought credit get higher limits. Requests over a limit receive a 429 or 529 response with a retry-after header. We may change limits as capacity changes. Contact us if you need more.

You keep all rights to the state and questions you send and to the answers you receive. For Drex, the following replaces the improvement clause in section 5 of the Nace AI Terms of Service:

• We process request content to return your answer and keep it, with the answer, in operational logs for no more than 30 days to run, debug and secure Drex. We do not use request content to train or improve models.
• We keep usage records (for example time, token counts, cost and which key was used) to bill you, show your usage and keep the service secure.

Drex is provided as available, without a service-level commitment. We may suspend access to protect the service or other customers, for example during abuse or an attack, and will restore it as soon as it is safe.

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@nace.ai. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Nace AI Terms of Service.
